Safety - Defensive Shooting Techniques

This course will teach you what to do if you are ever in a situation that requires self defense. You will learn how to move while shooting, how to draw from the holster, how to reload, the order of engagement, cover, and scenario based live-fire engagement of threats. This course will take place at the Mountain Valley Sportsman's Association rifle range. Driving directions will be provided. Please bring your firearm, on the waist "kydex" holster, at least two magazines, eye and ear protection, and 100-150 rounds of ammo. Optional items to bring include a magazine speed loader and magazine holster.
