This course covers basic care for medical emergencies, injury emergencies (including Stop the Bleed), environmental emergencies, and injury prevention. Hands-on activities include, but are not limited to, wound dressing, bandaging, and splinting. The cost is $10 and includes the AHA First Aid handbook and some take-home supplies. Participants receive a certificate of completion for AHA Basic First Aid and Stop the Bleed. Participants will pay the $10 fee at class. Class will be held in FD-254. This is an American Heart Association class. 2 sessions/3 hours per session
