Plogging

Get in some steps, squats and lunges while also beautiyfing the area around campus! Plogging is picking up litter while you jog or walk. The word is a combination of jogging and "plocka upp," Swedish for "pick up." Despite the name, jogging is not required! We will walk around campus and surrounding roads, picking up litter as we go. Gloves, trash bags and little grabbers will be provided. Meet at the main entrance to the Lab Science building.
There will also be a monthly opportunity to get up to 2 hours by participating in a highway cleanup on the third Saturday of each month, 9:30-11:30, on our adopted mile of Hwy 227 (Mountain Pine Rd). Meet at NPC Community and Corporate Training center.
