This course is an introduction to Firearms for new gun owners and those wanting to learn the basics of shooting. The course will consist of classroom time and supervised range time where you will practice livefire shooting. Please bring your everyday carry firearm (semiautomatic or revolver) and one box of ammo, eye and ear protection. If you do not own a firearm, you can email the instructor prior to class and one can be provided for you. Closed toed shoes are required for this course. Class will be held at the Mountain Valley Sportsman’s Association rifle range. Driving directions will be provided.
