This course will teach you to explore the idea of quickly representing the world around you in an interesting and appealing composition through shapes and values. You will learn to train your brain to accurately sketch what you see in a fun, relaxed environment using tools such as a sighting stick and viewfinder. Topics covered include exploring shapes, angles and negative space, value and colors, composition, still sketching, soft shapes, facial features and more. While all skill levels are welcome, this class is geared towards beginners and those wanting to be free from perfection. No class on March 21. Supply list available.
