CNC Level 2 - Advanced
You will set up presets, determine proper work holding, choosing proper tools to meet requirements, learn drill cycles, countersinking and pocket milling subroutines. You will learn how to toggle from main program to subprogram, setting up required tools and entering tool and work piece offsets. You will do programming and learn different ways of inputting prorams into controller and troubleshooting programs. This class will include a final project.
PREREQUISITE: You should have previous experience with CNC machining or completed the Machining Fundamentals course.
