Adventures in Art will take campers on an artistic journey. Campers will experience different techniques including pottery, painting, collage, and cardboard construction to create a unique book. Each camper will make one ceramic piece of an animal/character theme and paint it with underglaze colors, paint pages for the story book and cut up collage pages, create a cardboard character (animal), paint it, and have articulated arms and legs and will combine all these elements into a book with a story of adventure and journey. The pottery piece will be fired in the kiln and ready for pick up at a later date.
