This course will provide you with the basic tools necessary to develop your skills in strumming melodies as well as playing rhythm and chords with others. You will learn fretting techniques, rudimentary music notation, as well as how to play from Dulcimer tab. Loaner Dulcimers are available with advance notice. A $200 refundable deposit is due for loaner Dulcimers. The textbook needed for this course is; 1st lessons in the Mountain Dulcimer by Joyce Ochs.
