Are you ready to hit the trails? This is your invitation to join us outside, learn the basics of backpacking, and discover the adventure of the great outdoors. This class will cover important topics from choosing the right gear to planning your trip along with essential safety techniques and Leave No Trace principles. Through this class we will put your skills through the test with hands on field experiences to make sure you feel confident while on your next outdoor adventure.
No experience is necessary. Supplies provided. Offsite hikes will take place within the city of Hot Springs, Lake Catherine State Park, and Lake Ouachita State Park.
