This course is all about staying safe and smart in everyday situations that might turn dangerous. You will learn how to spot potential threats, avoid trouble before it starts, and handle things confidently if they do go sideways. We will dig into how violence typically unfolds, and how to defuse tense moments before they escalate. Expect a lot of hands-on practice - we will throw you into realistic scenarios (in a good way) to help you get comfortable with things like dealing with strangers, staying calm under pressure, moving with purpose, and handling close-quarter situations. We also touch on how to give basic trauma care, and stay on the right side of the law while doing it all.
