Explore the world of clay! You will learn basic handbuilding methods of pinch, coil, and slab techniques. This will be a project based class where you will create several pieces. You will learn about the different stages of clay and underglaze painting. You will take home glazed fired creations utilizing both form and exploration. Clay and glaze provided. The instructor fires pottery. Pottery will be ready for pick up at a later date. Ages 6-16 are welcome to participate. Ask about a discount if registering for both Pottery for Youth and Teens classes.
