This course is an introduction to native plants and animals of the Natural State. During this course you will learn about living things native to Arkansas that share our environment. Topics covered will include native wildflowers, trees, insects, non-game fish, snakes, birds and an introduction to birding, mammals, nocturnal wildlife and nature’s untouchables. The course will consist mostlyof classroom presentations with some time spent outside (weather permitting). Please dress comfortably and wear shoes that allow you to walk outside. No class on 11/11.
