This course will guide you through the process of learning to draw human portraits. You will learn techniques from drawing a portrait from an image, studies on facial features, sketching faces from multiple angles, and drawing a portrait from life. We will use viewfinders, graphite, and charcoal to create our pieces. Our goal is to learn to draw what is there as opposed to drawing what we think we see. This course is meant for non-practicing artists and new artists honing their skills. Supply list available.
